MP man faces charges following accident
Charges were filed following a one-vehicle accident on April 21, in the 2300 grid of Hickory Avenue, just west of Mt. Pleasant.
According to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, Brett Boggess, of Mt. Pleasant, was traveling north on Hickory Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle, which went into a four-way skid into the east ditch.

According to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, Brett Boggess, of Mt. Pleasant, was traveling north on Hickory Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle, which went into a four-way skid into the east ditch.
No injuries occurred. Boggess was cited for failure to maintain control, driving without a driver?s license and reckless driving.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
