MP Police looking for hit and run suspect
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department was notified of a hit and run on Wednesday, July 20.
According to police records, the incident happened at the intersection of North Grand Avenue and East Mapleleaf. The Mt. Pleasant Police Department was notified of a hit and run on Wednesday, July 20.
According to police records, the incident happened at the intersection of North Grand Avenue and East Mapleleaf. It was determined that a van, operated by Joanne Kilbridge, was stopped at the flashing stoplight going northbound. A white sedan, operated by a white female approximately 30-40 years of age, struck the van from behind and fled the scene. Police estimate damage to Kilbride?s van at $1,000.
The police department is asking for assistance in identifying the offender. Those with information can call the police department at 319-385-1450 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. After 4 p.m., call 319-385-3511.
