MP police looking for pickup involved in hit-and-run
Mt. Pleasant's Police Department is searching for a newer model, candy-apple red Ford F-150 pickup that allegedly struck a pedestrian in downtown Mt. Pleasant this morning.
According to a release from the department, the pickup allegedly struck Bethany Knudsen of Mt. Pleasant at approximately 8:40 a.m. as she was walking east in the Jefferson/Monroe streets intersection crosswalk.

Mt. Pleasant's Police Department is searching for a newer model, candy-apple red Ford F-150 pickup that allegedly struck a pedestrian in downtown Mt. Pleasant this morning.
According to a release from the department, the pickup allegedly struck Bethany Knudsen of Mt. Pleasant at approximately 8:40 a.m. as she was walking east in the Jefferson/Monroe streets intersection crosswalk.
The truck, the report said, then left the scene southbound on Jefferson Street.
Knudsen was transported by private vehicle to the Henry County Health Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
