The Mt. Pleasant Police Department will be conducting its annual toy drive again this year and is looking for families in need.
The police department is requesting names of families who may need assistance this year. Families may be called in anonymously, however they will need the names and ages of kids as well as phone numbers and address for the families.
The police department will be collecting new toys until Monday, Dec. 17. The presents will be distributed on Thursday, Dec. 20.
The toy drive is for kids and ask adults over the age of 18 not be nominated.
There will be a drop box at the Mt Pleasant PD. This is for local residents only.
The police department will be working with the Fellowship Cup and Community Action to make sure all families receive what they need. Toys for Tots and Dollar Tree will be assisting the drive as well.
If you have signed up with one of the other organizations you will not be eligible for our drive.
For more information or to submit a family, contact the Mt Pleasant Police at 385-1450 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
