MP schools announce winter concert dates

Mt. Pleasant schools have music on the brain, as winter concerts are right around the corner.

The Mt. Pleasant Elementary Choral and Band Concert will be held on Monday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., at the high school. The concert will feature musical presentations by the elementary choirs and fifth grade band.

On Sunday, Dec. 13, the Mt. Pleasant High School Winter Concert will commence at 2 p.m. The concert will take place at the high school and will feature concert, symphonic and jazz bands as well as choirs.

Middle schoolers will round out the concert season with their winter concert on Monday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m., at the high school. The concert will feature sixth, seventh and eighth grade choirs as well as the sixth and seventh/eighth grade bands, and the jazz band.
