MP Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Roederer submits his resignation

Mt. Pleasant School Board members will consider the resignation of Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Roederer during its regular meeting tonight (Monday).

Roederer has submitted his resignation, effective June 30.

School officials also have recommended the hiring of Scott Lamm as activities director, beginning with the 2013-14 school year.

Lamm currently is WisdomQuest principal and .75 time exercise science instructor at the high school. He has resigned his WisdomQuest duties effective at the end of the school term. Lamm also has resigned as assistant varsity football coach, middle school wrestling coach and high school boy?s track coach, all effective at the end of the school term.

Other agenda items for the 7 p.m. meeting at the high school media center include receipt of the comprehensive annual financial report and a report on the fiscal 2014 taxable valuations.
