MPCHS students offer gingerbread house class

Ten gingerbread house enthusiasts could have their dreams come true thanks to Mt. Pleasant Community High School culinary arts students.
The first 10 persons to sign up with Marjorie Beckman?s Culinary Arts III gingerbread house construction ?class? will have the opportunity from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, to make this ?holiday centerpiece? guided by the students at MPCHS. Pieces will be prebaked and participants will assemble and decorate them with the assistance of the Culinary Arts III Students, Beckman said.
?The first 10 to call and make reservations will have this amazing opportunity, so give us a ?jingle? at 319-385-7700 ex. 153,? invites Beckman.
A $20 fee per entry will help pay for equipment and supplies at the culinary arts department.
