Mt. Pleasant Community Theater to hold Auditions
‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ to begin casting

Mt. Pleasant- This weekend, the Mt. Pleasant Community Theater will hold auditions for its production of The Play That Goes Wrong. They will be held at the Belle Center, the former Chadwick Library on the Iowa Wesleyan campus, on Jan 11., from 2p.m. to 4p.m., and Jan. 12, from 6p.m. to 7:30p.m.
The Play That Goes Wron g is a comedy, written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry shields, of the Mischief Theater Company of London, England. It has ran continuously in London since its debut in 2012, winning Best New Comedy at the 2015 Laurence Olivier Awards. It possesses a principal cast of 8 people.
In this story, a college drama society attempts to put on a 1920’s murder mystery, but is faced with mishap after mishap. The comedy derives from Murphy’s Law- anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
