Mt. Pleasant JV girls get past West Burlington

The Mt. Pleasant junior varsity girls won a battle with West Burlington on Thursday night. The Panthers topped the Falcons 31-28 in a game that preceded the varsity games,
The JV girls were led by Serenity Keomanivong, who scored 12 points and was the only Panther to reach double figures. Emma Huckabone was Mt. Pleasant's second-leading scorer with six.

The Mt. Pleasant junior varsity girls won a battle with West Burlington on Thursday night. The Panthers topped the Falcons 31-28 in a game that preceded the varsity games,
The JV girls were led by Serenity Keomanivong, who scored 12 points and was the only Panther to reach double figures. Emma Huckabone was Mt. Pleasant?s second-leading scorer with six.
Lexie Magnani finished the game with five points and three steals. Ryann Davidson, Ellie Liechty and Grace Bittle all finished with three steals apiece to help the Panthers out defensively.
Mt. Pleasant moved to 6-2 with the win. The Panthers will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 5, when they take on Southeast Conference rival Washington.
