Mt. Pleasant library closing to public

MT. PLEASANT - The Mt. Pleasant Public Library will be closed to the public beginning on Tuesday due to rising coronavirus cases in the county to keep patrons and staff safe.

The library will continue to serve the public during its regular business hours from Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All requested materials will be available for pickup in the library's atrium. For items on reserve, patrons are asked to call library staff and provide a pickup time. Items will be placed in the atrium at 9 a.m., noon and 4 p.m. daily.

Items can continue to be reserved through the online catalog or by phone at 319-385-1490.

Materials can be returned at the drop box outside of the library building.

Students who need to use library printers can call for assistance.
