Mt. Pleasant man arrested in New London
An anonymous tip on Jan. 22 to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office led to the arrest of a Mt. Pleasant man.
Kermontae Heard was arrested in the 100 block of South Ash Street in New London. Heard had an active arrest warrant for escaping the Burlington residential facility in November 2016. While Heard was being apprehended it was discovered he was violating a protection order.

An anonymous tip on Jan. 22 to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office led to the arrest of a Mt. Pleasant man.
Kermontae Heard was arrested in the 100 block of South Ash Street in New London. Heard had an active arrest warrant for escaping the Burlington residential facility in November 2016. While Heard was being apprehended it was discovered he was violating a protection order.
Heard was charged with violation of a protective order (simple misdemeanor).
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
