Mt. Pleasant man arrested on firearm, drug charges

Airelle Cordero Antonio Young, 32, of Mt. Pleasant was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and carrying weapons on March 27 at 11:53 p.m.
The Des Moines County Sheriff's Office found marijuana and a loaded pistol in Young's vehicle during a traffic stop.
He was stopped for a traffic violation on U.S. Highway 34 in Danville, IA. Young was arrested and transported to the Des Moines County Jail with a $3,000 bond.
