Mt. Pleasant man receives multiple felony charges
MT. PLEASANT - A Mt. Pleasant man was charged with multiple felonies after allegedly committing an assault with a firearm Thursday evening.
Dustin Kindig, 31, was arrested following an attempted burglary which took place on Dakota Avenue. The Henry County Sheriff's Office was notified of the incident at approximately 5:50 p.m.
Following the incident and a search of his residence, Kindig was charged with first degree burglary, going armed with intent, possession of a firearm by prohibited person, assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and violation of a protective order.
