The Mt. Pleasant boys' golf team was back at home on Tuesdsay evening for a Southeast Conference showdown with Keokuk. The Panthers took five of the top six spots individually and ran away with a 162-196 win.

The Mt. Pleasant boys? golf team was back at home on Tuesdsay evening for a Southeast Conference showdown with Keokuk. The Panthers took five of the top six spots individually and ran away with a 162-196 win.
Trace White took medalist honors, shooting a one-over 37 on the day. He collected one birdie in his round, shooting a four on the par-five sixth.
Jake Moffett finished third place overall and second on the team with a 40. Moffett ended his round on a high note by picking up his only birdie on the ninth hole.
Rhett Zeglen shot a 41, which included a birdie on the seventh hole. Brevin Wilson was behind him, shooting a 44. Wilson?s shining moment came on the par-five hole six, where he chipped in his third shot for eagle.
Austin Buckert was just one shot off the scoring four players when he finished his round at 45. Sam Anderson scored a 62 to round out the Panthers.
The boys? golf team will have a quick turnaround before their next meet. The Panthers will travel to Fairfield for a dual on Thursday, April 19 at 4 p.m.
