Mt. Pleasant?s Panther High School Marching Band gained its 27th consecutive Division I rating Saturday in Muscatine. The Iowa High School Music Association-sanctioned contest was hosted at Muscatine High School.
The 195-member band, directed by Jim DePriest, featured songs from the Broadway hit ?Miss Saigon? in its performance.

Mt. Pleasant?s Panther High School Marching Band gained its 27th consecutive Division I rating Saturday in Muscatine. The Iowa High School Music Association-sanctioned contest was hosted at Muscatine High School.
The 195-member band, directed by Jim DePriest, featured songs from the Broadway hit ?Miss Saigon? in its performance.
The band will perform its show one final time Tuesday night during All Bands Night at 7 p.m. at the Mapleleaf Athletic Complex. The annual event features all of the bands in the school district.
