Mt. Pleasant to hold annual Spring Clean Up
The City of Mt. Pleasant will hold its annual Spring Clean Up during the week of April 25 - 29.
Spring Clean Up is a one week opportunity for residents of Mt. Pleasant to rid their homes of unusual or large items that are too big to fit into a garbage bag during regular garbage collection.
The collection work is done by Wemiga Waste. Spring Clean Up will be done during normal garbage delivery day.

The City of Mt. Pleasant will hold its annual Spring Clean Up during the week of April 25 - 29.
Spring Clean Up is a one week opportunity for residents of Mt. Pleasant to rid their homes of unusual or large items that are too big to fit into a garbage bag during regular garbage collection.
The collection work is done by Wemiga Waste. Spring Clean Up will be done during normal garbage delivery day.
Items that cannot be picked up are: tires, waste oil, batteries, roof shingles, ashes, liquids such as anti-freeze or household chemicals, wet paint, construction materials of any kind, televisions or computer monitors, yard waste or appliances.
To be taken, carpet must be tightly rolled and tied. Also, dried paint can be taken, but lids must be off the paint cans.
Garbage stickers are to be adhered no earlier than the morning of pickup. Pile size is limited to the equivalent of a unit six-foot wide by eight-foot long by four-foot tall. A minimum of six stickers are required to be used.
