Name of injured student released
The name of the elementary school student run over by a car in on Broadway Avenue in front of the high school Monday afternoon has been released.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, 7-year-old Adrian Scotton of 500 E. Broadway Ave., ran into the street from the front of a school bus parked in line for the student transfers. Adrian ran in front of a westbound Pontiac Bonneville driven by Samantha Marie

The name of the elementary school student run over by a car in on Broadway Avenue in front of the high school Monday afternoon has been released.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, 7-year-old Adrian Scotton of 500 E. Broadway Ave., ran into the street from the front of a school bus parked in line for the student transfers. Adrian ran in front of a westbound Pontiac Bonneville driven by Samantha Marie Fischer, 17, of 800 Sunset Drive. He fell after being struck by the car, and his leg was run over causing a compound fracture.
