New London Specialty Care restricting visitors amid coronavirus outbreak

NEW LONDON - Unless there is an emergency, residents at New London Specialty Care will not be allowed to see visitors as the facility has decided to now allow them until March 31.
Jens Lee, facility administrator, said there are no cases of coronavirus within the facility and that this is purely a preventative measure. Visitors will only be allowed in for emergency situations, such as visiting loved ones on hospice.
'We're just trying to limit visitors in regard to what is going on nationally,” he said.
