The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held on Tuesday, May 26, at the United Church of Christ in Olds.
The meeting began with the shower for the camp girls. The girls opened their gifts while members watched. After the opening of gifts, the campers and their mothers, along with the members, enjoyed refreshments served by Nancy McGohan and Karolyn Crawford.

The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society was held on Tuesday, May 26, at the United Church of Christ in Olds.
The meeting began with the shower for the camp girls. The girls opened their gifts while members watched. After the opening of gifts, the campers and their mothers, along with the members, enjoyed refreshments served by Nancy McGohan and Karolyn Crawford.
After the campers and mothers left, the business meeting was called to order by Missy Fear leading the group in singing, "Sword of Gold". Pat Miller gave meditations. Roll call was answered by 16 members sharing their favorite food their mother?s had made.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Fear shared information regarding the National T.T.T. Convention, which will be held in West Des Moines at the Marriott on Oct. 15, 16, and 17, 2015. Members were asked to think about attending.
The treasurer's report was given by Lisa Kempf and will be filed for audit.
Barb and Nancy reported on the girls? shopping day and the plans for the drop-off and pick-up of the girls. Several volunteered to help as needed. Everyone brought cards they had written to the girls as well as carnival prizes to be donated.
Lisa gave a report on the fundraiser at Unc and Nephs.
Pat Miller shared that the group had given gifts to graduates. One camper also had a birthday.
The next meeting will be on June 22. This will be a Founders Day celebration and camp report. Pat King and JoAnn Roth are hostesses and Fear will give devotions. The camp girls will be there to share their camp experiences.
Old business included the following: Missy and Lisa brought up the idea of having a get-together on a Sunday in July. No set dates were given and everyone was asked to give it some thought. It will be discussed at the next meeting.
New business included the following: Bills were presented by Nancy and Pat, and a motion was made and approved to pay them.
With no other business, the meeting closed with the ladies reciting the T.T. T. Creed.
The Finke Cousin's Reunion was held Sunday, June 7, at Jerry's Restaurant, in Mt. Pleasant. Those attending were: David and Tiffany Finke; Carter, Reece, and Cooper, from Waverly; Cisco, Kathy, Kamden Hill, from Des Moines; Andrew Finke, from Des Moines; Phil and Barb Deats, of Clive; Randy and Linda Finke, Craig and Brenda Davey, and granddaughter, Emma, and Frieda Finke, all from Crawfordsville; Dewayne Finke and Shirley Finke, from Columbus Junction; Verla Finke, Janice Hauenstein and Craig Johnson, from Iowa City; Larry and Madonna Jack, from Carlisle; Brian and Pam Finke Egel, from Nichols; Janet Simmons, from New London, Audrey Finke and Jane Kaczinski, from Washington; and Bonnie Gesling, from Moline, Ill.
