Newspaper, city offices to be closed on Monday
The Mt. Pleasant News will not be publishing a paper on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.
As New Years falls on a Sunday this year, the news office at the Mt. Pleasant News, as well as its sister papers ? The Washington Journal and Fairfield Ledger ? will be closed in observance of New Years.
The News office will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3. Subscribers will receive regular delivery on Tuesday as well.

The Mt. Pleasant News will not be publishing a paper on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.

Offices for the City of Mt. Pleasant will also be closed Monday, Jan. 2, in observance of New Years. Offices will reopen the following day.
Garbage collection will be one day later this week and next due to the holidays.
