Night Prairie Burn postponed

The Washington County Conservation Board will be postponing its Night Prairie Burn at Marr Park, initially scheduled for Friday, April 12, due to the poor weather forecast for a safe burn.
The entire event will be rescheduled to Thursday, April 18. The educational program will begin at Shelter 1 at 7:30 p.m., with the fire starting at 8 p.m.
This prairie often burns in under 15 minutes so it is recommended that those interested arrive early. For more information, contact the Conservation Center at 319/657-2400.
