Ninth-graders sweep Bloodhounds
The Fairfield freshman volleyball team needed just two games to beat Fort Madison Tuesday.
Jolea Burkhart, Karly Williams and Jessica Ring combined for 14 aces on 36-of-39 serves, and the Trojans won 25-9, 25-9.
Madison Roberts put down a team-high eight kills. Ring, Hannah Morgan and Abby Shaner added one kill apiece.
