No injuries, $14K in damages following accident
No injuries were reported following an accident that caused nearly $14,000 worth of damage.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:40 a.m., on Wednesday, May 20, at the intersection of Clay and Main Street in Mt. Pleasant.

No injuries were reported following an accident that caused nearly $14,000 worth of damage.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:40 a.m., on Wednesday, May 20, at the intersection of Clay and Main Street in Mt. Pleasant.
Mike Wasson, of Libertyville, was driving northbound on Main St. in a 1000 Chevy Truck when a 2015 Chevy, driven by Lexie Leslie-Wilson, of Mt. Pleasant, entered the intersection from Clay St., striking Wasson?s vehicle.
No injuries were reported at the scene. Vehicle damage was estimated at $14,000.
Leslie-Wilson was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
