No injuries in pickup vs. deer

There were no injuries and an estimated $1,500 in damage when a vehicle came into contact with a deer in the 3200 grid of Highway 218 south of Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, June 22, at approximately 3:52 p.m.
Nathan Cornelius, of Springfield, Mo., reported a deer struck the rear driver side quarter panel of his 212 Toyota pickup as he was driving southbound on Highway 218 on Saturday.
The deer ran off and damage was estimated at $1,500. There were no injuries.
