Nomination papers ready to run for council seat

WASHINGTON - Nomination papers are available for residents interested in running for the vacant City Council position.
The forms for the Ward 3 position are available at the Washington County Auditor's Office.
The special election for this office will be held March 2. The nomination petition filing deadline is Feb. 5. The petition must be accompanied by an affidavit of candidacy and should be filed with the Washington city clerk.
