Oakland Mills plans sweet event making maple syrup

Come to the Top of the Hill area at Oakland Mills County Park on Thursday, March 4, from 4-6 p.m. for activities at the Dorothy Family Maple Syrup Camp that will include tapping trees, an evaporator demonstration and syrup tasting. This free program is weather dependent, so watch our Facebook page, Henry County Conservation Department.

Supervised groups and people of all ages are invited to attend with a participating adult age 18-plus. Preregistration is not necessary.

Plan accordingly as the nature center and all facilities will be closed. Be sure to dress for the weather as there may be snow to trudge through. Attendance at this event is part of the Cabin Fever Raffle.
