Official backs decision to withhold video
IOWA CITY (AP) ? The head of the Iowa Public Information Board is backing the state?s decision to keep secret a video that allegedly shows workers at the Iowa Juvenile Home mistreating a teenage resident.
The board?s executive director, Keith Luchtel, says in a report today the video is confidential under an Iowa law that protects the identities of those receiving state treatment services.
