Ollie A. Harrell, 92, of Ames died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at home.
A private family service will be at a later date.
Memorials may be given to Arc of Story County in honor of two of Mrs. Harrell?s good friends, Molly Allen and Debbie Gandrup.

Mrs. Harrell was born Dec. 29, 1920, in Panama, Neb., the daughter of Leon and Josephine Price. She married Wayne Harrell March 12, 1944. He died Dec. 21, 2011.
She graduated from Fairfield High School and Parsons College.
She and her husband loved to play golf together and retired to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1978 until returning to Ames in 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Harrell and spouse Jane of Ames, and Steve Harrell and spouse Gretchen of Madison, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother Dale.
