Olson named Market President of Great Western Bank

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. ? Great Western Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim Olson to Market President of the Burlington and Mt. Pleasant markets.

Olson is a graduate of Iowa State University, earning a degree in industrial administration in 1978. Olson spent the past 38 years in the financial services sector, including five years at the Iowa Division of Banking. He joined Great Western Bank in October 2014 as SVP of Business Development for southeast Iowa.

Olson is active in the community and volunteers his time with many organizations. He currently serves on the Community Foundation of Des Moines County Board, Great River Entertainment Board, SE Iowa Revolving Loan Fund Committee and the Highway 61 Coalition Committee.

A native of Hartwick, Olson and his wife, Mary, currently reside in Burlington.
