Family: I have three adult children and six grandchildren.

Occupation: The lion's share of my adult life was spent in the field of corrections, I retired in March of 2011 and ran for office in 2012.

Political Experience: I have served eight years on the county Board of Supervisors, four years in the military, six years for the Department of Corrections and 21 years as chief jailor for Washington County.

Why are you running for office?

Because everyone needs a purpose in life, and I'm fortunate enough to serve the residents of Washington County. Serving this county fills that need.

What are your priorities if elected?

To see to it that whatever issues are brought before the Board of Supervisors will be studiously examined in order to make an informed voting decision. Furthermore, I will honestly and fairly listen to all of my constituents.

What would you like to see the county accomplish during the next several years if you are elected?

I will continue to hold all departments to zero operating expenses while responsibly stewarding the county's money.

What is your decision-making style, and how will you employ that if elected?

My decision-making style is to slice and dice every issue that is brought before the board in order to make an informed decision and vote for the betterment of Washington County.
