Occupation: Owner/operator of Kalona Blacksmith & Welding (36 years) and current Washington County Supervisor

Political Experience: I have been a Washington County supervisor for the past 7½ years.

Why are you running for office?

I enjoy representing the people of Washington County in making decisions based on their input and best interests.

What are your priorities if elected?

I would like to continue working to see that Washington County remains a healthy and vibrant county.

What would you like to see the county accomplish during the next several years if you are elected?

I would like to see the completion of the new 9-1-1 system and as a WEDG member, continue to encourage business and industry to come to our county.

What is your decision-making style, and how will you employ that if elected?

I would continue to gather all the facts that I can and as much input from my constituents before making a decision.

What do you believe are your qualifications for the office you are seeking?

I have 7½ years of political experience as a Washington County supervisor and 36 years of being a business owner in the county.
