On the home stretch
A construction project that has taken over six months to complete is nearly finished. The reconstruction of Mapleleaf Avenue from Lincoln to Iris streets has less than one-half block of concrete remaining to be poured. Crews tore out the existing concrete from Cherry to Iris streets and replaced it with new concrete. The concrete west of Cherry to Lincoln streets was patched.
