Two wrestlers entertain the crowd during the Midwest Championship Wrestling show Thursday evening in the grandstand. Later, 2013 Greater Jefferson County Fair Queen Megan Black got in the ring. Black was the first female to place at the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament. She is planning to attend Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., for three years while taking courses at the University of Colorado, with hopes of participating in the 2016 Olympics for women?s wrestling. Other grandstand events will be quad races starting at 6 p.m. today; the farmer class truck and tractor pull at noon Saturday followed by the Twin States Pulling Association truck and tractor pull at 7:30 p.m.; and the demolition derby and fireworks at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
