One injured after vehicle strikes utility pole
One individual was injured after the vehicle they were traveling in jumped a curb and struck a utility pole on Friday, Feb. 9.

One individual was injured after the vehicle they were traveling in jumped a curb and struck a utility pole on Friday, Feb. 9.
According to police reporters, Logan Robertson was driving a 1998 Infinity north on Walnut Street too fast for road conditions when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed the southbound lane of traffic, jumped the curb and struck a utility pole, owned by the Mt. Pleasant Manicipal Utilities.
The Robertson vehicle was considered a total loss and damage to the utility pole is estimated at approximately $5,000, as it will have to be replaced. One passenger in the Robertson vehicle was transported to the Henry County Health Center by ambulance and treated for possible injuries.
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Henry County Ambulance Service, Mt. Pleasant Municipal Utilities and Breuers Towing and Recovery.
