One man injured in single vehicle crash still under investigation

A single vehicle accident is under investigation by the Henry County Sheriff's Office after a man from Sigourney crashed his car near the intersection of North Iowa Avenue and Highway 218 on Thursday, June 6, at approximately 1 a.m.
Cory Brandon Stevens, 31, of Sigourney, sustained incapacitating injuries after he was found away from his vehicle by Henry County Sheriff's deputies. He was transported to the Henry County Health Center and later to the University of Iowa Hospitals.
Stevens was driving a silver 2001 Ford Escort.
Other agencies assisting with the crash were Mt. Pleasant Fire and Rescue, the Henry County Health Center paramedics and the Mt. Pleasant Police Department
