One person goes to hospital after Tuesday morning crash

WASHINGTON - A two-vehicle accident resulted in one individual being transported to the University Of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Just after 7 a.m. on Tuesday, the Washington Communication's Center received a call of a two-vehicle accident on Highway 1, halfway between Washington and Kalona.
Trey Carlson of Keota and Jane Blieu were involved in the accident. Washington County Ambulance transported one individual to the university hospital.
Carlson's vehicle was towed by Moores Towing and damage was assessed at more than $1,500. Carlson was cited with failure to obey a traffic control device.
