After being closed for what seemed to be an eternity (even longer if you were a business owner in the area), the Grand Avenue intersection has been reopened for southbound traffic from East Washington Street. The intersection was closed in early May for reconstruction as part of the Washington Street project. In another construction-related item, traffic was routed on the two center lanes of East Washington Thursday from Locust Street east to Grand Avenue.
