Oskaloosa mother accused of killing 18-month-old
OSKALOOSA (AP) ? A 20-year-old Oskaloosa woman has been arrested in the slaying of her 18-month-old daughter.
Oskaloosa police and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation say Alicia Ritenour is charged with first-degree murder and child endangerment resulting in death. Jail records said today Ritenour remained in Mahaska County Jail. Online court records don?t list the name of her attorney.

On Jan. 24, officers were sent to the Oskaloosa apartment where Ritenour lived with her daughter, Ava Ritenour. Officers found that the toddler was already dead.
Authorities say an autopsy showed Ava Ritenour died of head trauma.
