Packwood bank robbed Friday morning; suspect apprehended
TOP: Law enforcement officials search Packwood this morning for a suspected robber. Shortly after 10 a.m., Pilot Grove Savings Bank reported being robbed by a 6-foot tall, thin male dressed in black, wearing a blue ski mask and wielding a knife, according to Jefferson County Attorney Tim Dille. A suspect, Anthony Michael Koehlhoeffer, age 20, of 505 ½ W. Madison Ave., Fairfield was apprehended on foot around 12:20

TOP: Law enforcement officials search Packwood this morning for a suspected robber. Shortly after 10 a.m., Pilot Grove Savings Bank reported being robbed by a 6-foot tall, thin male dressed in black, wearing a blue ski mask and wielding a knife, according to Jefferson County Attorney Tim Dille. A suspect, Anthony Michael Koehlhoeffer, age 20, of 505 ½ W. Madison Ave., Fairfield was apprehended on foot around 12:20 p.m. north of Batavia. The individual left the bank carrying a yellow bag, but as of press time, Dille said it had not yet been determined whether any money was taken. No one was injured during the robbery. The Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office; Fairfield Police Department, including K-9 Banjoir; Jefferson County Police Reserves; Iowa State Patrol and airplane; Division of Criminal Investigation; Wapello County Sheriff?s Office; Keokuk County Sheriff?s Office; and Sigourney Police Department all aided in the search efforts by foot and by car, with officers stationed at the main gateways to Packwood.
