Panthers split with Ft. Madison
FT. MADISON ? Mt. Pleasant shut out Ft. Madison in the ?A? game, but the Bloodhounds turned the tables on the Panthers in the ?B? game during the eighth grade football team?s final matchup of the season on Thursday.

FT. MADISON ? Mt. Pleasant shut out Ft. Madison in the ?A? game, but the Bloodhounds turned the tables on the Panthers in the ?B? game during the eighth grade football team?s final matchup of the season on Thursday.
The Mt. Pleasant A team came up with a win by a 35-0 score, but the B team fell, 16-0.
In the A game, Pat Canby and Brock Wilson rushed for a team-high 54 yards each. Canby had two touchdowns, made good on two PAT kicks and scored on an 18-yard field goal as well.
Wilson scored a touchdown, and so did DShundric Foster and Zach Ebeling. Foster finished with 34 rushing yards on the night, and Ebeling had 10 yards.
In passing, Wilson was five-for-five for 149 yards.
Ebeling had four catches for 85 yards, and Canby had a 64-yard catch.
On defense, the Mt. Pleasant A team was led by Thadius Williams, who had nine tackles. Ryan Moutrie and Tre Cosgrove added seven tackles each, and Ebeling had six tackles.
In the B game, Dustin Mitchell had 22 yards rushing, and Brandon Hart added 13 yards.
Mitchell was seven-for-15 passing for 44 yards. Aminn Ellis had four receptions for 34 yards.
