Passenger injured in two-vehicle accident
Officers from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident Sept. 4 in the 2300 block of East Washington Street.
According to the accident report, a 2001 Chrysler, driven by Carole Christner of Brighton, ran the stop sign at the bottom of Exit 42 and collided with a 2005 Chevrolet, driven by Daniel Devilbiss of Burlington.

Officers from the Mt. Pleasant Police Department investigated a two-vehicle accident Sept. 4 in the 2300 block of East Washington Street.
According to the accident report, a 2001 Chrysler, driven by Carole Christner of Brighton, ran the stop sign at the bottom of Exit 42 and collided with a 2005 Chevrolet, driven by Daniel Devilbiss of Burlington.
Gloria Devilbiss, a passenger in the 2005 Chevrolet, sustained multiple injuries from the accident and was transported to the Henry County Health Center by ambulance.
Christner was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
The police department was assisted at the scene by the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department, Henry County Health Center Ambulance Service and the Henry County Sheriff?s office.
