Fairfield High School students Kara Greiner, left, and Joseph Hietpas practice cooking noodles in preparation for Pasta Night from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday in the Fairfield High School Commons. Greiner and Hietpas are members of The Fairfield High School Future Business Leaders of America, which is hosting the second annual Pasta Night. Members of FBLA will serve spaghetti and Alfredo pasta, garlic bread and dessert. The cost is $5. Pasta Night coincides with Senior Night on the basketball court, where the Fairfield boys and girls will play host to Keokuk.
In late March, FBLA members have the opportunity to attend state leadership conference in Coralville. Students can compete in more than 70 events such as job interview, computer applications, management decision-making and sales. Some events are individual while others are team events.
