Patrick Edwin Dean, 62, of Danville, died on March 30, 2016, at Great River Medical Center, in West Burlington.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Elliott Chapel, in New London. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery, in rural New London. Visitation will begin after noon on Friday, April 1, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Patrick Edwin Dean, 62, of Danville, died on March 30, 2016, at Great River Medical Center, in West Burlington.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Elliott Chapel, in New London. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery, in rural New London. Visitation will begin after noon on Friday, April 1, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Dean was born on June 16, 1953, the son of Grant Gordon and Jean Lucille Grinstead Dean, in Burlington. He graduated from Danville High School in 1972. On Feb. 8, 1975, he married Donna Diane Henessee, in Danville.
He worked at GE, Heatilator, helped his father-in-law farm, and worked at his dad?s Conoco Station, in Danville.
He enjoyed photography, mushroom hunting, hunting, fishing, cutting firewood, his four wheelers, motorcycles and being with his grandkids.
Dean is survived by his wife; his sons, Darrell (Shelly) Dean; and Dennis (Tracy) Vaughn, both of Mt. Pleasant; his daughters, Donna (James) Stott, of Mt. Pleasant; and Kimberly Dean, of Danville; seven grandchildren; one brother, Stan (Marianne) Dean, of Danville; and one sister, Brenda (Jeff) Gearhart, of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
