Payment options available for school year registration

The Fairfield Community School District?s annual districtwide fee payment day is set from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 7 in the Fairfield High School Commons, but to avoid the lines, several options payment options are available.
Fees for the 2012-13 school year can be made online at the district?s website www.fairfieldsfuture.org. Follow the registration instructions on the site and mail the completed forms, printed from the website, to the Administration/Technology/Technology Center, 403 South 20th St., Fairfield 52556.
Another option is to mail a check with the completed forms, printed from the website, to the A.C.T. Center.
Or, fees can be paid and forms can be turned in in-person at the A.C.T. Center.
Families new to the school district who need to enroll students can do so between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the A.C.T. Center.
School fees this year are:
Elementary grades, kindergarten through fourth ? book rental, $39; lunch, $2.05; breakfast, $1.30; 20-count milk ticket, $6.
Middle school grades five through eight ? book rental, $44; instrumental music, $10; towel fee for grades six through eight, $10; lunch, $2.20; breakfast, $1.30; extra milk or juice, 30 cents; optional student activity pass, $20.
High school grades nine through 12 ? book rental, $50; instrumental music, $15; towel fee, $10; lunch, $2.20; breakfast, $1.30; extra milk or juice, 30 cents; optional student activity pass, $30.
The instrumental music has a maximum $25 per family. The instrumental music fee cannot be paid online.
The family all-season activity pass, available online, is $120. The adult all-season activity pass, unavailable online, is $60 and the senior citizen Golden Activity Pass for those age 62 and older, also unavailable online, is $20.
Families might quality for partial or full waiver of book and town fees if they complete Iowa Eligibility Application and waiver. For information, go to Food Service on the website or visit the A.C.T. Center or attend the districtwide registration event.
No packets of registration information will be mailed to parents this summer to save funds. The information is available on the website. Those who do not have access to the Internet can get the forms at the A.C.T. Center or the districtwide registration event.
Parents also are encouraged to visit the parent portal on the website to update any information, such as address, phone numbers, emergency contacts. The information also will be sent to parents for them to verify or update and return to the school.
Parents will need to fill out and return a medical form.
