Pickup rolls east of Fairfield

A pickup truck hauling a trailer rolled east of Fairfield Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported.

According to a report from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Clarence Bowermaster, 45, of Fairfield, and Burt Jester, 41, of Stockport, were traveling east in a pickup on Highway 34 about 2 miles east of Fairfield. The report does not state which person was driving the vehicle, but it indicates that just after noon that day, the driver lost control, causing the trailer to swerve and the truck to roll into the median, landing on its side.

The Fairfield Police Department, Fairfield Fire Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies and CARE Ambulance responded to the scene, although the passengers of the vehicle were not transported in the ambulance.
