Pilot made emergency landing on Nashua Avenue Wednesday

An aircraft was forced to land in the 1200-grid of Nashua Avenue on Wednesday, Oct. 24 around 5 p.m.
Deputies from the Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to secure the scene and speak to the pilot, David Buford, 52, of Bonaparte. This accident is currently being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration.
No property damage or injuries were reported, and medical attention was declined at the scene.
