Pleasant Manor Care Center welcomes new administrator
Shanna Laughton, the new administrator for Pleasant Manor Care Center, Mt. Pleasant, left west Texas to return to be close to family.
Also the administrator for West Point Care Center, Laughton comes here after 14 months as an administrator in Muleshoe, Texas, near the New Mexico border. A nursing home administrator for 14 years, she was born in Albert Lea, Minn., and graduated from Wartburg College of Waverly.

Laughton does not anticipate any significant changes in Pleasant Manor?s operations.
