The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 8:57 a.m. Tuesday on South 20th Street. According to the accident report, a northbound 2004 Chrysler Sebring driven by Hannah M. Sobaski, 16, of Libertyville attempted to turn left into a private drive and turned into the path of a southbound 2005 Toyota pickup driven by Rex L. The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 8:57 a.m. Tuesday on South 20th Street. According to the accident report, a northbound 2004 Chrysler Sebring driven by Hannah M. Sobaski, 16, of Libertyville attempted to turn left into a private drive and turned into the path of a southbound 2005 Toyota pickup driven by Rex L. Tarrence, 51, 804 S. 32nd St. Sobaski was cited for failure to yield while turning. Estimated damages are $2,500 to Tarrence?s vehicle and $6,000 to Sobaski?s vehicle.
