The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Fourth Street and Kirkwood Avenue. According to the accident report, a southbound 2003 Chevy Tahoe driven by Carolyn Jean Louden, 53, 905 E. The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Fourth Street and Kirkwood Avenue. According to the accident report, a southbound 2003 Chevy Tahoe driven by Carolyn Jean Louden, 53, 905 E. Adams Ave., ran a stop sign and was sideswiped by an eastbound Waste Management 2000 Mack truck driven by Michael Lee McMurrch, 26. Louden was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. Estimated damages are $2,000 to Louden?s vehicle and $100 to the Mack truck.
