Fairfield Police Department investigated a report at 6:47 a.m. Thursday of a stolen vehicle in the 800 block of Sunset Drive.

Willis Stanley Biddle of 803 S. 33rd St., was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to provide security against liability at 9:17 a.m. Thursday. Biddle was driving a 2002 Ford F150 truck east on Burlington Avenue near D Street and collided with the back of a 2003 Toyota Highlander SUV, driven by Debra Lynn Cutler of 2084 Kiowa Lane, also traveling east on Burlington Avenue. Cutler had stopped for a vehicle turning down an alley. An estimated $6.000 damage was done to Cutler?s Highlander. An estimated $4,000 was done to Biddle?s Ford.

Fairfield police took a report at 11:16 a.m. Aug. 15, of criminal mischief ? destruction/damage/vandalism of property ? at 1002 W. Carpenter Ave.
